My first card as a Stampin’ Up! Demo.

I finally got to and made this card the other night, but after 2 nights of staying up late playing with my new gear, I was just too exhausted last night to get it posted.

Fifth Avenue Floral

SUPPLIES (all by Stampin’ Up! unless otherwise noted)
Stamps :    Fifth Avenue Floral
Paper :       Basic Gray, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss
Ink :            Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss
Ribbon :     Kiwi Kiss

Its a pretty simple card, but I think it looks pretty effective.  I’m still trying to perfect the photo side of things, but hopefully that will come with practice!

I’ve just subscribed to the Mojo Monday blog, so will hopefully be able to get my creativeness flowing with some design inspirations from over there!

Thanks for stopping by!

Just a little note of Thanks…

This is a very simple (but somewhat fiddly) card that I knocked up for my wonderful Upline Makeesha Byl, the extremely talented crafter that got me hooked onto Stampin’ Up!.  Head over to Keesh’s blog to see just what I’m talking about!

SUPPLIES (all by Stampin’ Up! unless otherwise noted)
Stamps :    Jumbo Outline Alphabet, Linen Background (retired)
Paper :       Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Taken With Teal, Bali Breeze DSP (retired)
Ink :            Black Staz-On
Ribbon :     Pumpkin Pie
Other :       Scallop Edge Border Punch, Paper Piercing

Thanks for everything Keesh!

There’s more coming… I promise!!

Just thought I’d better let you all know that this is definitely not going to be one of those blogs that only has 1 or 2 posts on it… I’m waiting for my stash to arrive from Stampin’ Up! I’m halfway through a couple of cards, but need some on the new colours that I’ve ordered to arrive to finish them off. Our poor postie is not going to know what’s hit him when he arrives, I’m keeping one eye on the driveway today, because I’m expecting it to arrive shortly. Hopefully he doesn’t keep me waiting too long!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Getting down to it!

Well, I figure seeing as how this is a blog for my Stampin’ Up! business, I should probably get to and showcase what it’s all about.  I am a relatively new Papercrafter, I’ve been cardmaking for just on a year now, and have recently discovered Stampin’ Up!  I instantly fell in love with their Stamps and Papers, and thanks to a recent promotion, knew this was for me!  As I’m still building my supplies, alot of what you may see in the early days of this blog may be retired sets or colours, but I figure that’s OK, we’ve all got to start somewhere right?

Here’s a card I made for my Lifelong bestie for her birthday back in April.

SUPPLIES (all by Stampin’ Up! unless otherwise noted)
Stamps :    Birthday Whimsy, Lots of Dots (Jumbo Roller)
Paper :       River Rock, Ruby Red, Groovy Guava, Ginger Blossom DSP
Ink :            Ruby Red, River Rock
Ribbon :     Groovy Guava
Other :        Slit Punch (for Scalloped Border), Paper Piercing

Thanks for stopping by!
