Busy busy!

Ok, I haven’t dropped off the face of the earth, I’ve been super busy making heaps of projects for my Catalogue launch that I held on Sunday! It was a fantastic day, and everyone seemed to have a great time, taking home 5 little projects!

I’m going to get back into a bit of regular blogging, cos I’ve got heaps to share, I’ve just got to photograph everything to get it up here!! 😀

The brand new Stampin’ Up! Catalogue has finally hit our shores! It’s been a long while coming, with the change of dates to align us better with the US release, but boy, was that wait worth it!

There’s a few ways to get your hands on this little beauty:

I’m ba-ack!

Howdy all!

I just had a look and can’t believe how long it’s actually been since I blogged. Talk about life getting in the way of having a good time! Sickness has really reined supreme here of late. Everyone’s been really sick, and I even got to spend a wonderful (lol) night in hospital a couple of weeks back with severe Asthma – until now, I wasn’t Asthmatic… go figure!?! Anyway, everyone seems to be finally on the mend, and I thought it was about time to turn my attention back to my poor neglected blog over here!

My main reason for swinging by tonight, is to let you all know about a fantastic fundraiser that is going on over at Helping Hudson. A bunch of gorgeous Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators have put their gorgeous, creative heads together and come up with 60 (yes, you’re reading that right) project tutorials in an effort to raise the $5000 that is needed to purchase Hudson a Kid Walker. There are 6 bundles of themed tutorials, each containing the instructions 10 different projects, for only $10 each. Not only that, but if you purchase 4 or more of the tutorials, you’ll get a special bonus one for free! How generous is that!! 😀 The girls are also running 3 weekly challenges over the course of the fundraiser, with some brilliant prizes that have been generously donated by Stampin’ Up!

Just Add Ink Challenge # 13 – Colour

Gosh I have no idea where this year is going! There seems to be so much going on, and so little time to try and squeeze everything in! Of course, here I am again squeezing in my entry for the Colour Challenge over at Just Add Ink at the very last minute. (Well, technically tonight that’s not true, I still have just under an hour & 45 minutes to get it loaded – so proud or myself!!) 🙂

So I got to use my brand new Sewing Machine that my wonderful In-Laws bought me a couple of weeks ago for the stitching, and I love it!! I’ve been playing with it a bit over the last week, but tonight was the first night I put some paper in it and I must say, it won’t be the last!! I’ve been browsing fabric shops & blogs over the net too this week and, ooh-lah-lah, there’s some gorgeous fabrics and patterns out there! I’ve really got to start with the basics and learn how to sew a straight line first though!!
