Just Add Ink Challenge # 13 – Colour

Gosh I have no idea where this year is going! There seems to be so much going on, and so little time to try and squeeze everything in! Of course, here I am again squeezing in my entry for the Colour Challenge over at Just Add Ink at the very last minute. (Well, technically tonight that’s not true, I still have just under an hour & 45 minutes to get it loaded – so proud or myself!!) 🙂

Here’s the combo that Amanda & Danielle have set for this week:

And my entry:

SUPPLIES (all by Stampin’ Up! unless otherwise noted)
Stamps :       Autumn Days
Paper :          Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss, Barely Banana
Ink :              Chocolate Chip
Ribbon :        Chocolate Chip 1″ Double Stitched Grosgrain
Other :          Loop to Loop Rub-Ons (hostess), Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Barely                       Banana Marker, Dimensionals, Sewing Machine.

So I got to use my brand new Sewing Machine that my wonderful In-Laws bought me a couple of weeks ago for the stitching, and I love it!! I’ve been playing with it a bit over the last week, but tonight was the first night I put some paper in it and I must say, it won’t be the last!! I’ve been browsing fabric shops & blogs over the net too this week and, ooh-lah-lah, there’s some gorgeous fabrics and patterns out there! I’ve really got to start with the basics and learn how to sew a straight line first though!!

Seeya back here tomorrow for my entry into Keesh’s Sketch Challenge!

Thanks for stopping by!

Nikki

Wow Nikki, awesome stitching! You’re making me think I ought to take the shrink wrap off the lil cheapie machine I bought a coupla years ago for this very purpose… have to learn how to thread it 1st!

Thanks guys! Lol Lee, I had to use the handle winder bit (that’s how technical my sewing knowledge is) because I couldn’t get the paper to go through straight! My hand wanted to fall off by the end!!
