Well… hi there!

Ok, so before you give me a hard time… we’ve had a busy couple of months.  Both the kids have had birthdays, Wil has had an operation, everyone’s been sick, Wil got pneumonia, everyone got sick again… but the good news is I’ve still been creating.  I just haven’t found the time to get them edited and up on here!  But here we are, and I’ve finally got a few cards to share, the editing isn’t the greatest, but it was a choice of basically add the watermark and stick ’em up, or wait another 2 months! 😀

Here are a few that I’ve done using the Great Friends set, which is unfortunately not going to be available after the 30th November – so if any of these cards inspire you, and you’d love to get the set before it retires, pop me off a quick email and I can organise direct delivery to your door.

This one was an idea that I grabbed from the Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalogue (page 126)

SUPPLIES (all by Stampin’ Up! unless otherwise noted)
Stamps :       Great Friend
Paper :          Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze (Textured 12 x 12), Whisper White
Ink :               Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss
Ribbon :        Kiwi Kiss
Other :          Cutter Kit, Dimensionals

These next 2 were just a couple of simple ones using the Great Friends set and a bit of the coordinating Designer Series Paper – Walk In The Park, which also won’t be available after the end of November.

SUPPLIES (all by Stampin’ Up! unless otherwise noted)
Stamps :           Great Friend
Paper :              Whisper White, Cameo Coral, Walk In The Park DSP
Ink :                   Baja Breeze, Cameo Coral, Basic Grey
Other :               Mat Pack, Dimensionals

SUPPLIES (all by Stampin’ Up! unless otherwise noted)
Stamps :            Great Friend
Paper :               Basic Grey, Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black, Kraft
Ink :                    Basic Grey, Tempting Turquoise
Other :                Scallop Edge Punch

This one was a make and take at my last workshop, and although it looks rather fiddly, with everything pre-cut (except for the punched images and the butterfly), it was actually a very simple card to put together, and all of the ladies loved it!

Great Friend

SUPPLIES (all by Stampin’ Up! unless otherwise noted)
Stamps :           Great Friend, Short & Sweet
Paper :              Basic Grey, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Walk In The Park DSP
Ink :                   Baja Breeze

And so concludes my little love fest with Great Friend.  I’m going to be so sad to see this set go!

Thanks for stopping by!

Nikki
